NACM Greater Cleveland was established in 1986 and is a continuation of NACM Northeast Ohio that was founded in 1899. NACM-GC is one of 60 affiliates of the National Association of Credit Management, which was formed in 1896 and has 30,000 members throughout the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. NACM-GC is a not-for-profit organization devoted exclusively to the promotion of credit management.

NACM Greater Cleveland represents over 150 member companies in the Cleveland, Akron, Canton and Youngstown area all across Northeast Ohio who are commercial credit grantors throughout a broad spectrum of manufacturing, wholesaling, financial institutions, service industries, and professional firms.

The Association provides services and information to assist its members in all facets of their work activity and provides a forum through which members come together for education, networking, and other business purposes.
